Package Itinerary


Day 1: Arrival at Leh

Welcome to the Ladakh at Leh airport. Leh is at an altitude of 3500 Meter beyond the sea level. On arrival our representative will meet and assist you towards your chosen hotel. After check in to the hotel, take some rest to get adapt. Post afternoon you will drive to see Tsemo Gompa, Shanti Stupa and drop at Leh Market, stroll while returning to Hotel. Overnight stay will be at selected hotel as mentioned above.

Leh Airport - Kushuk Bakula Rinpoche Terminal it’s one of the highest airports in the globe at 3,256 m (10,682 ft) above sea level. The airport is named after the respected Kushok Bakula Rinpoche, whose 19th personification was an important Indian and Ladakhi Statesman.

Tsemo Monastery created in 1430 by King Tashi Namgyal of Ladakh; it has a three-story high gold idol of Maitreya Buddha and antique manuscripts and frescoes.

Shanti Stupa was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. The Shanti Stupa grasps the remainder of the Buddha at its base, enshrined by the 14th Dalai Lama himself. The stupa has turn into a tourist lure not only due to its religious importance but also due to its site which provides panoramic sights of the nearby landscape.

Leh Main Market Situated in the spirit of the city Leh market is a mixture of shops old and new. Be it pashmina shawls or Pizzas from Italy you can find it all here. The vegetable and fruits market is a place where you can find fresh organic grown food.


Day 2: Sightseeing

After having the breakfast drive about 40 Kms (3 to 4 hours) on the way you will see Shey, Sindhu Ghat, Thiksey and hemis. Overnight stay will be at selected hotel as mentioned above.

Sindhu Ghat is situated at 10 km upstream the Indus River from Leh close to the Shey , it is a calm river bank The Sindhu river begins near Mansarover lake and Mt. Kailash in Tibet enters in to India and runs through the Leh and nearby valley.

Shey is a city in Ladakh that has the older summer Palace of the rulers of Ladakh. It is situated 15 km. from Leh towards Hemis. The palace was build over 555 years ago by Lhachen Palgyigon, the king of Ladakh. The palace has the major golden Buddha statue in Ladakh.

Thiksey Monastery (also transliterated from Ladakhi as Tikse, Tiksey or Thiksey) (thiksok Nambar tak pe ling) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, situated on top of a hill, about 19 kms east of Leh in Ladakh, India. It is renowned for its similarity to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet and is the biggest gompa in central Ladakh.

Hemis monastery is one of the most popular and biggest of all monasteries in Ladakh, 45 Kms south of Leh formed in 17th century belongs to the Drukpa order. The monastery was founded by Stagsang Raschegn who was invited to Ladakh by king Singee Namgyal. The king presented him religious estates and attended him as his principal guru. Hemis Tsechu (festival) assembles annually from 9th to 11th day of the 5th Tibetan month. The Gompa has well conserved Thankas and copper gilt statue of the lord Buddha, diverse stupas prepared of gold and silver and many fortunate objects. The biggest thanka in Ladakh is over 12 Meter - Long is at Hemis.


Day 3: Full day Trip

After having the early breakfast, you will depart for Nubra Valley 125kms (5 to 6 hrs drive). Cross the globe utmost motor able pass Khardongla (18,380.fts) Enter the beautiful valley popular for the antique Caravan path to Central Asia and to places like Kashgar and Yarkand, the road was also recognized as the treaty road. Nubra accurately means the valley of flowers. The double hump Bacterium Camel ride along in the sand dune. Overnight stay will be at Camp/Hotel.

Nubra Valley is a tri-armed valley situated to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh city, the capital of Ladakh region, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a huge valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok River is a stream of the Indus River. The average elevation of the valley is about 10,000 feet. 3048 meter above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to tour over the Khardung La pass from Leh town. Non-locals require an Inner Line Permit (obtainable in DC office, Leh town) to go into Nubra.


Day 4: Sightseeing

After having the breakfast you will drive back to Leh via Sumoor Gompa. After that the rest of the day will be at leisure or relax. You can go for the market visit by your own to experience the lifestyle of their locals and to have the view of the beautiful leh and Ladakh in your own way. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.


Day 5: Sightseeing

After having the breakfast, you will drive to Stok Palace cum museum approach back. By afternoon you will drive to about 40 Kms (3 to 4 hours) to visit Pathar Sahib, Magnetic hill, union of Zanskar - Indus River and Hall of fame. Overnight stay will be at selected hotel as mentioned above.

Stok Monastery or Stok Gompa or Palace is a Buddhist monastery in Leh region, Ladakh, northern India, 15 kms south of Leh. It was formed by Lama Lhawang Lotus in the 14th Century and has a remarkable library including all 108 volumes of the Kangjur. A ritual dance-mask festival is held yearly. It was used for some time as a dwelling by the Ladakhi royalty.


Day 6: Full Day Trip

After having the early breakfast depart for Pangong Lake drive 154 Kms (7 to 8 hours) through Changla Pass (5300 Meter, 17,350 feet) one of the chief motor able road in the globe. Also watch the beautiful Pangong Lake forms a part of the border region between India and China. This great, serene Lake at a height of 13,930 feet above the sea level has a luminous color variation including deep blue, turquoise etc. Drive back to Leh for overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 7: Leisure

After having the breakfast your whole day will be free at leisure. Discover the Leh Main Market located in the middle of the city Leh market is a mixture of shops old and new. Be it pashmina shawls or Pizzas from Italy you can get it all here. The vegetable and fruits marketplace is a place where you can find fresh organic grown food. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.


Day 8: Departure

Post breakfast, according to your flight timing you will get the transfers to the International airport where you will board the flight towards your onward journey. And you will take the happiest moments and its memories with you and also fantastic stories about your amazing trip to share with your relatives and friends.
