Day 2: Bangalore to Coorg (250 km/approx. 7 hours)

After a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and embark on a journey to Coorg, fondly called as the 'Scotland of India'.

Coorg, also called Kodagu, is an administrative district in Karnataka, famed as the land of coffee, cardamom, colonels and Cauvery River. Located on the UNESCO-listed Western Ghats, this place is set amidst blooming valleys, undulating mountains, dense teak wood forests and expansive coffee plantations. Owing to its amazing kaleidoscope of natural vistas and cool ambience, this hill resort is also renowned as the 'Kashmir of South'. As the place is blessed with rich flora, rare fauna and avifauna, it is a heaven for nature lovers.

On arrival in Coorg, check-in at the hotel and enjoy a comfortable stay overnight.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Coorg

Soon after breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an exciting half-day tour of Coorg. Visit beautiful coffee plantations, orange orchards and paddy fields in Madikeri, a small hill station and the headquarters of the Coorg district. Overlooking this place is the imposing Madikeri Fort, built by the kings of Coorg in the 17th century. The fort is known for its palace and the famous Lord Ganesha Temple, also known as Kote Ganapathi.

Later, visit the old Omkareshwara Temple, which was built in 1820 by King Lingarajendra. It boasts of an excellent blend of Gothic and Islamic architectures that completely mesmerises tourists. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and features a black granite lingam (one of the 12 Jyotirlingams in the country).

After this memorable trip, return to the hotel for a good night's sleep.

Day 4: Coorg to Wayanad (104 km/approx. 4 hours)

After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad a beautiful hill resort in Kerala. It is located at an altitude that ranges from 700 m to 2110 m approximately. The etymology of the name Wayanad is 'Vayal' means 'paddy' and 'Naad' means 'land', thus meaning 'Land of Paddy Fields'. Set amid Western Ghats, this place is surrounded by mist-clad mountains, lush forests and green plantations. The place is famous for its cash crops like tea, coffee, pepper, cardamom and vanilla and also for some endangered wildlife species. This region, hidden in hills, is abode to some old indigenous tribes that are yet untouched by modern civilisation.

On arrival in Wayanad, check-in at the hotel and rest. Enjoy the remaining day at your own leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Sightseeing in Wayanad

After relishing your breakfast at the hotel, head towards Lakkidi – the 'Gateway of Wayanad'.

Lakkidi is situated at the crest of the Thamarassery Ghat pass. A journey to this hill resort is a one of its kind experience, with nine hairpin curves en route offering breathtaking views of lofty peaks, gurgling streams and dense forests. The journey starts from Adivaram (downhill) passing through steep mountains, and it ends in Lakkidi at 2296 ft. Here, witness the splendour of nature from the Lakkidi View Point, a vantage point, which presents stunning view of the surrounding Vythiri town. This scenic hill station is gradually emerging as a popular resort for peace seekers.

After this fun-filled trip, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Depart from Calicut

Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Calicut airport/railway station for your return journey.
