Package Itinerary


Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Phuentsholing

On your arrival our representative will meet and assist you at Bagdogra Airport to transfer you to Phuentsholling via Jaigaon. The border of India & Bhutan, Indian side is Jaigaon and the Bhutan side is called Phuentsholing. The drive will be through Dooars which is the land of wonderful beauty, sloping tea gardens with impressive views. Check into the hotel, evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Phuentsholling.


Day 2: Phuentsholling – Thimphu after Permit formalities (6 Hrs 30min & 180 Km)

After the morning breakfast you will drive to Thimpu. This drive will take you along the Paro Chu (water or river) downstream to the convergence with the Wang Chu next the road turn upstream and travel along the Wang Chu to Thimphu. You can experience breath taking view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks together with the sacred Jumolhari and Mount Jichu Drake. After reaching there, check into hotel and overnight stay will be at Thimphu.


Day 3: Thimphu sightseeing (Full day)

After the early morning breakfast you will drive to visit the Memorial Chorten (Stupa) build in remembrance of the third King of Bhutan who ruled the empire from 1952-1972. Next the National Library where prehistoric manuscripts are conserved, Wood Craft and Painting School - The handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are displayed and can be purchased - Simtokha Dzong, one of the oldest bastions in Bhutan build by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1629 A.D Return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Thimphu.


Day 4: Thimphu – Paro via Dochula pass (4 Hrs & 100 Km)

After having your early breakfast you will drive to Dochula pass at a height of 3,088 m to get the proper view and admire the Chorten, prayer flags and mani wall and which ornament the highest point on the road. If weather will be clear the subsequent peaks can be seen easily from this pass Masagang 7158 m, Tsendagang 6960 m, Terigang 7060 m, Jejegangphugang 7158 m, Kangphugang 7170 m, Zongphugang 7060 m, etc - finally Gangkar puensum, the uppermost peak in Bhutan at 7497 m. After that drive to Paro visiting Simtokha Dzong, the oldest bastion of the country build in 1627 on the way. By evening check in to the hotel and overnight stay will be at Paro.


Day 5: Paro Sightseeing

After morning breakfast you will go for two hours hike to reach Taktshang monastery - Tiger's Nest Monastery. After that visit Drugyel Dzong (fortress) - The Dzong was build in 1649 by Shabdrung Nawang Namgyel to memorialize the victory of Bhutan over Tibetan Invaders in 1644which is demolised by fire in 1951. Amazing view of holy Mountain Jumolhari is worth to watch. On the way of returning view Taktsang Monastery perched on the side of a cliff at 900 meters. Visit Kychu Lhakhang, one of the ancient temples. National Museum traditionally known to the local Bhutanese as Ta Dzong or Watch Tower - build as Watch Tower (Ta Dzong) of Paro Dzong and the Valley was renovated and converted into National Museum in 1968. Evening will be free for leisure and overnight stay will be at Paro.


Day 6: Paro – Phuenthsoling (7 Hrs & 180 Km)

After having your early breakfast you will drive to Jaigaon / Phuentsholling. Enroute you will get a short stop at Chuzom, the union of Paro and Thimphu Rivers with three different styles of stupas decorate this confluence. You will proceed further through Chapcha and later take glance of famous Chukha Dam and the wonderful Vince waterfall before Gedu town. By evening you will arrive at Arrive Phuenthsoling and check into the hotel. Evening will be free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Phuentsholling.


Day 7: Departure

After having the breakfast, you will get the transfers back to Bagdogra airport where you will board the flight towards your onward journey. And you will take the happiest moments and its memories with you and also fantastic stories about your amazing trip to share with your relatives and friends.
