The shrine can only be seen inside a cave of the Trikuta Hills. The caves have three rock cuts representing three different female deities, starting from right to left, the Goddess Kali, goddess Lakshmi and goddess Saraswati. Those who believe in Shakti puja, love to visit this place in one's in their life time.


The Hazratbal shrine, located on the banks of the Dal Lake, is a Muslim pilgrim, and is considered as one of the most important holy place among the Muslim society of the state. It is here where the hair of the prophet is kept inside a glass casket. There is a famous mosque here too, that attracts tourists when there is a fair held in the premises. This place is also a leading tourist destination for Muslims from all over the world.
