This is a cable car ride where you can admire the beautiful hills and snow covered ranges of Kashmir while the car is slipping gradually on the rope. These cable cars are safe and have two sections to ride, each with a distance of 2.5 kilometres. The first segment consists of wires hanging from a height of 8000 feet and above at Kongdori Hills, and the second section stretches till the peak of Apharwat, which is about 13500 feet above the ground. The movement and the changing views give a beautiful feeling for which there are a number of visitors love to stand in queue for hours.


Among the tourist attractions of Kashmir holidays, the Khanqah Shah-i-Hamadan mosque, is quite famous in the category of historical heritage sites. This mosque was built in the 1730s and is Srinagar's most beautiful Muslim meeting hall. Non- Muslims are not allowed to enter the mosque, but they can peek through the openings of the place. The holy pilgrimage remains open for more than 12 hours, and its interior is entirely made up of faceted wood panels.


The Mughal Gardens is quite known of a tourist attraction. The place has several small sections namely the Nehru Park, the Shalimar Bagh, the Nishat Bagh and many more. The place is entirely filled with beautiful flowers, and has lawns, and terraces from where the beauty of the place can be admired. This garden hosts a number of visitors every day and hence it is a spot of pride for the city and state. There are a lot of flowers species that attracts the researchers of botany also.
