One of the several things to do in Kerala, is the Elephant Bathing in Kodanad. The charges vary from 350/- and above per head. You can enjoy bathing an Elephant, riding on them and can play around with the little young baby elephants too. There are a lot of elephants across this state and hence the tourists who love this huge mammalian can enjoy a good time here.


Among the Kerala tourist Attractions, the Eravikulam National Park is the most famous of all. The tourists specifically visit the park to watch the Neelakurinji flowers bloom. These flowers bloom only once in 12 years and the view is remarkable. One can also enjoy the boat rides at the Alappuzha Backwaters, where double deck boats give a maximum of 4 hour ride. The water around the boat and smooth ride feels the heart with a life time memorable experience.


Apart from sight-seeing, watching the vibrant snake boat races at Alappuzha is an amazing experience. These races are usually held during the Onam Festival from the month of July till September. There are a lot of tourists visit this place particularly to attend the boat race.


Kerala is also known for its different dance styles. Watching the Kathakali dance and Theyyam dance is a wonderful thing to do in Kerala. These performances are usually taken place outside temples and museums. There are a lot of stories that a Kathakali dancer can narrate to the visitors here.


Things to do in Kerala are abundance in number, you can watch the sunset at the beautiful Kovalam Beach and enjoy the beach activities, or try out the various varieties of bananas in Kerala, you may get drenched under the Athirapally falls in Kerala, or take a swim in the Arabian Sea at the Varkala Beach. You can go for a Bike ride on the roads of Idukki with beautiful greenery on either sides of the road, or you can admire the flora and fauna while taking the Periyar Jungle Jeep Ride. The taste of tourist can be anything but this beautiful land has everything to offer.
